Substance Abuse

People with substance abuse problems often start using between 12 and 18 years of age. This is why it is so important for teens to steer clear of drugs, alcohol, and smoking. Listen as Hannah shares her story of abuse.

Finding help through an article is a great place to start, but to find true healing, you need to talk to someone. Although friends can be encouraging, a trusted adult provides valuable perspective that can be extremely helpful in a difficult situation. If you’re not sure which adult to turn to, your school counselor or Campus Life Director is a great place to start.
